Traditional Weddings

Some symbols are traditionally present during a South African wedding, and represent what the marrying couple should and  be willing to endure and expect during marriage. Some symbols are salt, pepper, wheat, wine, bitter herbs, a holy book (such as the Quran or Bible), a broom, honey, a spoon, a spear, a shield and a pot.

We have a wide range of traditional decor that will suit your needs.

Event Planning

We are able to assist with all your eventing needs.  From intimate weddings and birthday parties to elaborate corporate functions, we like to keep our service “old-school” with a great deal of personal touch and input, while still creating modern, stylish events.  Our extensive experience in the eventing world will ensure that your event will run smoothly.

Our services include finding your perfect venue, arranging all suppliers as well as styling.  We also offer assistance with booking accommodation and all logistics.

Draping

Function Junction assists with Draping for all events. Be it big or small. We offer White, Black and Cream draping with colour  strategically place to enhance the atmosphere in your venue. We offer fairy lights in a Yellow or Blue White colour or we can assist with lighting behind the draping in the choice of your colour.
